Since its inception in 2001 with performances at the Joseph P. Kennedy Center in Harlem, NYC, Sidra Bell Dance New York (SBDNY, Inc.) has presented seven major NYC seasons. The artistic director has received many commissions for master teaching and speaking engagements in universities and dance schools throughout the United States and abroad and has received several residencies and awards for her choreography. The company has toured and performed at venues in the US, Germany, Denmark, and Canada.
